(02) Market and readiness

Is the U.S. right for us?

How do I know if my product can sell in the U.S.?

With an assessment of demand, competitors, price bands, landed costs, channel fees, advertising and returns. The question is not only whether the product can generate revenue, but whether it earns an acceptable contribution margin in the U.S.

Is online-first right for every product?

No. For many consumer-product categories, digital channels are a measurable and scalable first stage of U.S. entry. Regulated, oversized, perishable or low-margin products can still require substantial investment.

Has e-commerce replaced physical retail in the U.S.?

No. Online sales were 17.1% of U.S. retail in Q2 2026 (U.S. Census Bureau). Online-first is the stage that builds the evidence for later wholesale, distributor or retail decisions.

How can I validate demand before investing in retail distribution?

By launching selected SKUs on the channels where U.S. customers already buy and measuring traffic quality, conversion, reviews, returns, acquisition cost and contribution margin before committing to larger orders.

(03) Channels

Where should we sell?

Which channel should we launch first?

It depends on your category, your economics and how your customers buy. Amazon captures existing demand, Walmart adds reach, a Shopify store gives you control of the brand and customer data, and TikTok Shop suits products that sell through creators. Most brands start with one or two channels.

Do we need Amazon Brand Registry?

It is strongly recommended. It requires a pending or registered trademark and brand identification permanently affixed to the product or packaging.

How do we avoid becoming dependent on Amazon?

By building a channel portfolio: marketplaces for existing demand and your own store for the direct customer relationship and first-party data.

(04) Import and compliance

Getting the product in.

Does the $800 duty-free de minimis exemption still apply?

No. Since August 29, 2025, goods valued at $800 or less from all countries generally lost duty-free de minimis treatment, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Who is responsible for customs and compliance?

The importer of record remains responsible for accurate entry documentation, duties, taxes and fees, even when a customs broker is used (U.S. Customs and Border Protection).

Do imported products need to meet the same rules as U.S. products?

Yes. FDA-regulated products must meet the same requirements whether imported or made domestically, and noncompliant goods may be detained or refused (FDA).

Do you guarantee regulatory compliance?

No. We provide regulatory readiness and coordinate with qualified customs, regulatory and legal specialists according to your product category; we do not replace them.

(05) Working with us

Timing, results and next steps.

How long does it take to launch?

Assessment and design take about two weeks, and the launch phase runs from week 3 to week 8—provided compliance, inventory, content and accounts are ready.

Do you guarantee sales or ROAS?

No. Nobody can honestly guarantee rankings, sales or ROAS. We bring a disciplined testing system measured against acquisition cost and contribution margin.

How are results reported?

Every month, with sales, TACoS and ACoS, ROAS, conversion and inventory, connected to contribution margin and the decisions for the next month.

What happens after the first call?

We meet for 30–45 minutes. Within 72 hours you receive a diagnosis, a U.S. entry plan and an economic proposal. If it makes sense for both sides, we start with the assessment phase.

What should we prepare for the call?

Your product portfolio and current markets, target price and product cost, production capacity, current labels and packaging, and your U.S. trademark status if you have one.
